Text to Handwriting Converter

  • Free, no sign-up
  • Runs in your browser
  • Works on mobile

What this tool is for. It makes typed text look handwritten for cards, invitations, journal pages, posters and design mockups. It is not your own handwriting, so do not use it for work that must be in your own hand, such as exams, forms that require a handwritten signature or assignments where your teacher asks for handwriting.

How to make text look handwritten

  1. Type or paste your text in the box. Press Enter for a new paragraph.
  2. Pick a handwriting font. Choose Kalam if your text is in Hindi.
  3. Choose paper, ink colour and page size. Blue ink on lined paper looks closest to a school notebook.
  4. Adjust font size, line spacing and word spacing until letters sit on the lines.
  5. Raise Natural wobble a little so each word is slightly off, like real writing. Press Shuffle wobble for a different variation.
  6. Download each page as a PNG, or use Print or save as PDF.

Tips for a natural look

  • Keep wobble low, between 2 and 4. High values look careless.
  • Use dark blue or black, not pure black on cream paper.
  • A font size of 40 to 50 with line spacing near 68 gives about 20 lines on an A4 page.
  • Use Aged paper only for decorative projects. It lowers contrast for printing.
  • For printing, use the PNG at 100 percent scale or Print or save as PDF. The page images are 1240 by 1754 pixels for A4, about 150 dpi.
Smaller files. If a PNG is too large to email, shrink it with the Image Compressor. To set exact dimensions, use the Image Resizer.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free and do I need an account?

It is free and needs no sign-up. The pages are drawn in your browser.

Can I write in Hindi?

Yes. Choose Kalam, which includes Devanagari letters. The other fonts cover Latin letters only, so Hindi text in those fonts falls back to a plain font.

Why do the words look slightly uneven?

That is the Natural wobble setting. It shifts each word a little in height, angle and brightness. Set it to 0 for perfectly even text.

Can I download all pages at once?

Use Download all pages. Your browser may ask for permission to download several files. You can also use Print or save as PDF to get one PDF.

Is this the same as my real handwriting?

No. It uses fonts that imitate handwriting. If you need your own handwriting, write on paper and scan or photograph it.

Why is the text cut after 12 pages?

Each page is a large image, so the preview stops at 12 pages to keep your browser responsive. Split long text into parts.
